Accessibility Statement
Crosscap is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people of all abilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards across our website and platform.
Our commitment
We believe the web should be inclusive. We work to ensure that our digital products and content meet or exceed the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C).
Conformance status
The Crosscap website is designed to be WCAG 2.2 Level AA conformant. "Conformant" means that the content fully meets the accessibility standard without any exceptions. We regularly audit our experience against these guidelines and remediate issues as they are identified.
Measures we take
- Color contrast ratios meet WCAG AA — 4.5:1 for body text and 3:1 for large text and UI components.
- All interactive elements are fully keyboard-accessible with visible focus states.
- Semantic HTML, landmark regions, and a logical heading order are used throughout the site.
- Images include descriptive alt text; decorative images use empty alt attributes.
- Form fields have associated labels and clear error messaging.
- Touch targets on mobile are at least 44×44 pixels.
- Layouts remain usable when the browser is zoomed to 200%.
Assistive technology compatibility
Crosscap is designed to be compatible with recent versions of the following screen readers and assistive technologies:
- NVDA and JAWS with Chrome, Edge, and Firefox on Windows
- VoiceOver with Safari on macOS and iOS
- TalkBack with Chrome on Android
Known limitations
Despite our best efforts, some content may not yet be fully accessible. We are actively working to remediate any known issues and welcome feedback that helps us prioritize improvements.
